The air conditioning in Room number 2 required attention, barely cooling the room and impacting sleep quality. Access was awkward due to the front door lock difficulties, leaving us waiting outside upon arrival. The elevator was an old metal cage, crammed and not the smoothest ride, adding to the inconvenience of getting to our room.

Family-owned charm, excellent location for shopping, intriguing vintage elevator
Front door lock can be a hassle!!! Communication with the neighbor may be tricky for non-Italian speakers!!! Some maintenance issues, like a broken shower holder, could be seen as annoying!!! A little more care in upkeep would go a long way!!!

The breakfast was a delightful spread of seasonal fruits and local pastries. Maria even left us pastries since we missed breakfast on an early trip to Erice! The incredible dining scene nearby included Gigi Mangia and I Cuochini, where we indulged in tasty treats.
The air freshener in the hallway was a bit too strong for my allergies. Also, while I appreciate the plumbing rules, not flushing toilet paper was slightly inconvenient!

Staying here was a charming experience, especially when I received a personalized map of local attractions and enjoyed the old-timey elevator. The room was spacious and comfortable, giving me the perfect space to unwind after a day of exploring, and I loved the simple breakfast spread. The only minor hiccup was the outdated bathroom that could use a little sprucing up, but it didn't take away from my overall enjoyment. 😊

great location but maintenance needed
The location is excellent, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. Maria, the owner, went above and beyond by providing us with pastries since we would miss breakfast. We really enjoyed the breakfast spread and appreciated the fresh fruits and local pastries.
The room could benefit from some upkeep and minor repairs.
